Resonses, a Community based art project
involving three resident artists responding to
the community of South Parish, Cork.
the project encouraged dialogue with residents
and culminating in a major exhebition of video art,
sound works, drawing, ceramics and photography.
Through my engagement with small family
businesses in the area i explored particulary
two areas in connection to their activities.
The rhythm and sounds of the manual work and
the unique personal engagement that these
individuals had with their craft and their costumers.
As a result i created two installations including
sounds and moving image. |
